The Drawing Set Is the Product
Renders win clients. Drawings build buildings. Why the quality of a drawing set decides the cost and quality on site.

A render is a promise. A drawing set is the contract that keeps it.
Why do drawings matter so much?
Contractors price what they see. Missing details become variations. Uncoordinated drawings become site clashes — ducts through beams, doors hitting columns, ceilings too low for services.
What does a good drawing set include?
- Clear general arrangement plans, sections and elevations.
- Coordinated structural and MEP information.
- Door, window and finishes schedules.
- Details for junctions that matter: parapets, thresholds, façade connections, waterproofing.
- Consistent title blocks, revisions and references.
How do we check quality?
Internal review before issue, coordination overlays between disciplines and a simple rule: if a contractor would need to phone us to understand it, it isn't finished.
What does it save?
Variations, delays and disputes — usually many times the cost of doing it properly.
