We take a project from first estimate to final handover. Quantities are measured and priced before anything is committed, the programme is set against real constraints rather than optimistic ones, and our supervisors stay on site through construction. One team holds the cost plan, the drawings and the site record, so the answer to where a project stands is a number, not an opinion.
Planning & Architecture
Master plans, buildings, and interiors as one continuous idea.
A master plan, a building and its interior are one continuous idea, and we draw them that way. Work begins with the site, orientation, light, the grain of what surrounds it, and carries through massing, material and landscape to the detail of a door handle. Visualisation runs alongside, so a client sees the proposal as it will be built rather than as a set of plans to decode.
Structure
Foundations to full frames, new-build and adaptive reuse.
Foundations through to full frames, for new build and for buildings being adapted rather than replaced. Ground conditions are investigated before they are designed for, and additions are worked out against what is already standing rather than imposed on it. Structural design develops alongside the architecture rather than being issued back to it, so what gets drawn can be built the way it was drawn.
MEP
Fully coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing designed as one system rather than three that meet on site. Fire and life safety, HVAC, public health, lighting and power, and extra-low-voltage systems are sized against calculated load and coordinated with the architecture from concept. Plant space, riser positions and distribution routes are settled while they can still inform the plan, which is the difference between a ceiling void that closes and one that does not.
BIM
Model-first workflows that cut clashes before they reach site.
Every discipline models in one federated environment, and clashes are found there rather than on site. Coordination is resolved and recorded before documentation is issued, so the contractor receives a set that agrees with itself. The same model carries visualisation for the client and collaboration for the wider team, keeping one source of truth from brief through to as-built.
Where we can sign, and where we cannot.
A seal is not a service. The right to vet and stamp a drawing is granted by a regulator to a named professional in a named jurisdiction, and it does not travel with the firm that drew it. We are direct about where ours applies.
Pakistan
We are registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners. Design, documentation, vetting and stamping are delivered under those registrations.
Everywhere else
We deliver design and documentation, and work alongside engineers of record licensed in that territory. They carry the seal. We carry the drawing, and the standard it was drawn to.

Cornerstone is a Pakistani practice. Every registration below is held in Pakistan, and every one is verifiable on request.
Professional bodies
The practice is registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners. Those two registrations are what permit us to vet and stamp, and they are the ones any client should ask a Pakistani consultancy to produce.
Regulatory and approvals
Incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and registered with the Federal Board of Revenue, alongside the provincial revenue authorities of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. For development approvals we are enrolled with the Capital Development Authority and the Lahore Development Authority, and with DHA Lahore, Gulberg Islamabad and Naval Anchorage.
